Infantry Day in Ukraine

The infantry troops are the main hitting power of any army in the world which are assigned to the main task of warfighting. The military personnel of the mechanized, motorized, mountain-assault brigades and subdivisions of the Ukrainian Ground forces bear the brunt of the enemy's strike in the east of the country. From the beginning of Russian aggression, the infantry troops proved themselves as brave fighters who are capable of performing the most difficult tasks and on whom one can rely on.

The infantry units are being modernized in line with the modernization of the Armed Forces. Our strategic goal is NATO membership, and therefore we are sparing no effort to bring the standards of the Ukrainian army in line with Alliance standards. The Ukrainian Army is already among the strongest armies in Europe and in the world, and we must continue to move in this direction.
