Tattooing has been practiced across the globe since at least Neolithic times, as evidenced by mummified preserved skin, ancient art, and the archaeological record. Both ancient art and archaeological finds of possible tattoo tools suggest tattooing was practiced by the period in Europe.
Tattoo means 'stigma' in Latin. Tattoos are more popular than ever, and they are here to stay. More women are getting inked than men. 58% of women have at least one tattoo, while only 41% of men have one.
Tattooed men are more attractive (according to research). According to a survey conducted by a dating app in the UK, women are physically more attracted to men with tattoos.
