Today, transport becomes the subject of close and interested attention of the expert community. Opening of several profile facilities is a visual indication that formation of modern transport system is among the priorities of the strategy of social and economic development of Turkmenistan.
Turkmen state works actively on fruitful and beneficial cooperation with the UN specialized structures, especially with the UN European Economic Commission, Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific as well as with such big partners as International Road Transport Union. Establishment of the network of transport and logistic centres of international cargo traffic is one expected results of such cooperation.
