Ueckermünde Lagoon Days

Ueckermünde Lagoon Days is held on July 24. This event in the third decade of the month July is annual.
The Ueckermünde Lagoon Days are a folk festival held annually on the last weekend in July in Ueckermünde, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The Ueckermünde Lagoon Days were first celebrated in 1967. At that time, it was still known as the "Harbour Festival". Since 1970, it has been known as the "Ueckermünde Lagoon Days". In recent years, the festival has become a popular attraction for tourists from all over the world. It is the largest folk festival in the region and attracts thousands of visitors every year. On Friday evening, a boat parade takes place on the Ueckermünde lagoon. The boats are festively decorated and sail along the lagoon in a colorful parade.
The evening run takes place on Saturday evening. The route leads through the town center of Ueckermünde and is approx. 5 km long.
The shooting competition for the Haff Cup takes place on Sunday. Shooting clubs from the region compete against each other.
Funfair: A funfair is held on the fairground in Ueckerpark throughout the festival. Here you can visit rides, stalls and stands.
