Wine festival in Werder
Wine festival in Werder is held on July 31. This event in the third decade of the month July is annual.
On the Wachtelberg in Werder, winegrowers from various German winegrowing regions are guests for two days to present their latest wines.
It is not very often in Germany that a celebration is held directly in the vineyard. Visitors can taste, compare and enjoy and, of course, purchase white, red and rosé wines and sparkling wines from the various wine-growing regions in Germany. Various dishes are served and a band plays. The winegrowers enjoy talking shop with their guests and are eager to see how the new wines are received.
