Fiji Constitution Day is held on September 7. This public holiday was instituted in 2013 to commemorate the passing of the 2013 constitution, but it was first observed in 2016. Fiji's current constitution is its fourth since independence. This event in the first decade of the month September is annual.

The Constitution of the Republic of Fiji is the supreme law of Fiji. The Constitution cannot be abrogated or suspended, and can only be amended according to the procedures in the Constitution.
