Today (August 29), the City Guard Day (Dzień Straży Miejskiej) is celebrated in Poland. It was established on the anniversary of the adoption of the Act of August 29, 1997 defining the principles of operation of the municipal guard. It is a great challenge and effort incurred every day to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants.
The Municipal Police has been dynamically developing throughout all the years of its existence. Effectively cares for public order and the safety of residents. The actions taken by the officers bring visible results, and today - on the occasion of the City Guard Day - we have a unique opportunity to thank them for that.
