This celebration is in charge of the Mexican Society of Physics with the purpose of valuing physics as an important branch for the natural sciences, from which new technologies that help the development of human life derive. The UNAM offers a Physics degree in a school system, in the Faculty of Sciences located in Ciudad Universitaria.
On December 10, 1941, the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomedicas de la UNAM was founded, which currently has a total of 95 researchers, divided into 4 departments: Cell Biology and Physiology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Immunology and Genomic Medicine and Environmental Toxology.
