On the occasion of the Teacher's and Student's Day (Día del Enseñante y Estudiante), which is celebrated every year on December 7, an Act of Tribute is held to the Teachers, natives of the municipality of Gáldar, who retired during the course prior to the celebration.
Galdar thanks and appreciates them for the example they set and for being part of this valuable process called education, especially in a city that was the cradle of great teachers and in a municipality that has demonstrated and fought throughout its history for education to be among its core values and objectives.
