Every November 6, the Banking Workers' Day is celebrated in commemoration of the anniversary of the constitution of the Banking Association (AB) union. Over the years, this date was incorporated as a non-working day in the union. An achievement that was abolished during the military governments, but then with the return of democracy it was incorporated again.
Every anniversary is a non-working day "by joint agreement", according to the Banking Association.
