On October 29, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) celebrates International Day for the Prevention of Money Laundering.
For years, UNODC has been promoting the development and consolidation of an anti-money laundering culture at the international level, with a special focus on a preventive approach. The objective of the International Anti-Money Laundering Day Campaign is to mobilize society and inspire people to act against money laundering. This action seeks to raise awareness among young people, adults, businessmen, public officials and society in general so that they do not allow themselves to be used to launder assets or allow this phenomenon to grow.
