Within the great number of sports disciplines, motor racing is very different from the rest, due to a great number of characteristics and factors. The imperative need of a mechanical element to practice it, is its great distinctive feature. This date commemorates and remembers the death of Juan Manuel Fangio in 1995. Since 1998, by Law 25.076, homage is paid in Argentina to the activity in which he excelled.
There was an Argentinean, born in Balcarce, who stood out from the rest and was the best in history in this practice. Juan Manuel Fangio, bravery, courage and talent to drive cars. From the Argentine roads, and supported by the first government of General Perón, he was exported to Europe to stand out with results among the best in the world. Five times Formula 1 champion and a recognition among peers and fans.
