12 March - International Twitter Day
The social network characterized by allowing to send messages with a maximum of 140 characters called tweets and created by Jack Dorsey in March 2006, has 241 million active users worldwide and generates about 65 million tweets a day.
On March 12, International Tweeters' Day is celebrated as a tribute to all those witty, funny, analytical or acid tweets that users share, day by day, about their impressions, opinions or points of view on the famous social network of the little blue bird.
The celebration of #InternationalTweetersDay was imposed by the users themselves in 2012, and is a tribute to the creation of Jack Dorsey, who was the first tweeter to post something on this social network with a simple message: "Just Setting up my Twitter (I just created my Twitter)".
