Oil Worker's Day in Brazil is held on June 29. Dia do Engenheiro de Petróleo. This event in the third decade of the month June is annual. Help us
The activity that combines Engineering, Geology and Mining and whose knowledge is broad enough for its engineers to work in all stages of the extraction and production processes of oil and gas, perhaps for decades to come, celebrates this June 29th in Brazil in the 12th position of the ranking of the world's largest oil producers, with about 2.5 million barrels per day. Oil is responsible for 32.9% of global energy consumption and 47% of Brazilian consumption, i.e., it is still fundamental to modern society. In 2006 Petrobras announced the Pre-Salt, placing the country among the holders of large reserves. One day they will run out, but Brazil still needs petroleum engineers to believe in Brazil.
Congratulations, Petroleum Engineers!
