On October 25, the Day of St. Martin the Merciful, Bishop of Tours, who is considered the founder and patron saint of military chaplains, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Military Chaplain.
A chaplain for a soldier on the front line is an adviser and healer of spiritual wounds. He brings the soldier closer to God, he is His messenger.
Since the beginning of the war in the East, many clergymen have gone there to support our soldiers. They are mentors who help to find the right path for a warrior.
