May 24 was declared as World Schizophrenia Day to honour Dr. Phillippe Pinel of France. He emerged as one of the significant personalities to give treatment and human care for mentally unwell people.
Mental health is an integral and essential component of overall health as a human is not considered completely healthy without mental health. Schizophrenia is one of the most serious mental health disorders that impacts the daily life of the patient.
