St. Thomas Carnival in US Virgin Islands
St. Thomas Carnival in US Virgin Islands is held on April 7. St. Thomas proudly presents one of the largest Carnival celebrations in the entire Caribbean. The post-Easter, month-long event is ripe with activities including parades, food fairs and a large Carnival village where the music and dancing never stops. This event in the first decade of the month april is annual.
It began in 1912 but didn't become an annual event until 1952.
Tartan Day on April 6 (Canada and the United States);
Global Teen Health Week on April 6 (is the brainchild of Dr. Offutt);
International Beaver Day on April 7 (The largest beaver-built dam is in Wood Buffalo National Park, Alberta, Canada and is 850m long);
