International Asexuality Day is held on April 6. Created by the Association pour la Visibilité Asexuelle. Asexuality is the definition or self-determination of people who are not sexually attracted. This event in the first decade of the month April is annual.

Someone who is asexual experiences little to no sexual attraction. Asexuality isn't inherently the result of experiencing sexual trauma. Some people might only experience sexual attraction in very limited circumstances. At least 1% of people are believed to be asexual, according to some measures.
International Asexuality Day (IAD) is a globally coordinated campaign that spreads the asexual umbrella, including demisexuals, grisexuals, asexuals and other ase identities. Since 2020, every April 6 is commemorated the International Day of Asexuality, which is basically the null sexual attraction to other people.
The day was born thanks to a virtual campaign with activists from all over the world and the goal is to celebrate (and accept) the asexual spectrum in its entirety: asexuals, grisexuals, demisexuals, etc.
The idea of the day is also to break with the social and cultural parameters that consider "normal" hypersexuality nothing else; in fact from psychology it was raised that almost all our consumption is crossed by romantic love and sex.
