In 1755, Charles Friedrich Wiesenthal was born, who owns the idea of a two-pointed needle with an eye at the end. In 1790, Thomas Saint was already thinking about a real revolution in sewing, and in 1829 Barthelemy Timonnier invented and patented a fully functional sewing machine.
