3 March - World Butt Day
Our buttock muscles, also known as gluteal muscles or glutes, are critical in enabling humans to maintain upright posture and walk on two feet. Your glutes also have a role in stimulating the cortical (thinking part) of your brain.
The gluteus maximus is the most superficial as well as largest of the three muscles and makes up most of the shape and form of the buttock and hip area. The gluteus maximus is a thick fleshy muscle with a quadrangular shape.
The idea for World Butt Day was born in 2012 and belongs to Cara Kitty Blair, Ray Woodbuns, and Melissa Benzinger. This no-joke holiday was liked by many social media users and gained popularity all over the world.
