Some dogs are incredible swimmers. Some are fast and could even beat a cheetah! Dogs don't sweat like we do. Forty-five percent of U.S. dogs sleep in their owner's bed.
Puppies love physical affection, and if they want it, they will seek it out from their favorite people. They may lean against you while you're sitting on the couch or on the floor. It's a way of showing they feel safe and secure around you.
Like humans, dogs are especially impressionable as their brains develop, so puppies up to 6 months old are in their key socialization period. Like their human counterparts, dogs develop favorite people over time based on positive experiences and positive associations with that person.
