This is the day for your inner child to step out and laugh away all your worries. You can laugh out or giggle, in fact, you can do everything you want but make sure you always keep yourself laughing at the same time. This day reminds us to look beyond our anxious lives and find something that makes us smile.
Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen-rich air, stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain. Activate and relieve your stress response.
Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease. Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
It was believed that International Moment of Laughter Day had originated from 1997, a famous consultant and psychologist, Izzy Gesell give invitation all people to take part in on this day and join in some interesting activities to make people laugh together.
