It is a day for people to take a break from their daily chores and work and spend the day doing absolutely nothing. Lazy Day is a holiday which is celebrated in the United States, and maybe abroad, on August 10th. It is the perfect day to become a slacker, couch potato, or a loafer.
The World Day of laziness (festival) is the closing day of the Festival of Industry, Trade and Culture to be held in the city of Itagüi - Colombia. The festival is a social and cultural event it presents many kinds of music: jazz, blues, salsa, rock, hip-hop, reggaeton, vallenato, electronic music, reggae and pop. There's photography exhibition, painting, dance, musical and theater.
The closing day of the Festival of Industry, Trade and Culture under the name "World Day of laziness" was founded in 1984 as a symbol it modern world needs relax and learn to enjoy the moments and good entertainment.
While most of us don’t need an excuse to be lazy for 24 hours, Lazy Day gives us a legitimate one just before the end of summer. The school year is about to resume, if it hasn’t already where you live, so enjoy it while it lasts.
