The premise of Teacher’s Day is to appreciate the work that a teacher does. The Kazakh people have always respected teachers and their social status is also very high. As of September 1, 2021, there are 367,700 teachers in Kazakhstan. The idea of celebrating Teachers' Day took root in many countries during the 19th century; in most cases, they celebrate a local educator or an important milestone in education.
