Belarus produces 32,583.67 barrels per day of oil (as of 2016) ranking 72nd in the world. Belarus produces every year an amount equivalent to 6.0% of its total proven reserves (as of 2016). Belarus produces 8,440.29 million cubic feet (MMcf) of natural gas per year (as of 2015) ranking 78th in the world.
All fossil fuels are imported: natural gas represents over 80% of Armenia's energy imports (2.1 Mtoe out of 2.6 Mtoe in 2019), followed by oil products (0.5 Mtoe in 2019). Russia is its predominant supplier of natural gas (85% in 2019), the rest coming from Iran.
Coal represents around half of Kazakhstan's energy mix (50% in 2018), followed by oil and natural gas (both with 25% shares). Coal is mostly transformed into electricity and heat before reaching the final consumer. Coal fuels around 70% of electricity generation (in 2018), followed by natural gas (20% in 2018).
Kyrgyzstan has one of the highest shares of renewable electricity in the world. Coal represents around half of Kazakhstan's energy mix (50% in 2018), followed by oil and natural gas (both with 25% shares). Coal is mostly transformed into electricity and heat before reaching the final consumer. Coal fuels around 70% of electricity generation (in 2018), followed by natural gas (20% in 2018).
