A Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) is a rare form of epilepsy that causes multiple types of seizures resulting in developmental delays and cognitive impairments. November 1st is the annual International LGS Awareness Day. The day meant to create awareness about the condition, a form of epilepsy, was started first in the USA. The Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome Foundation first started the observance.
