René Descartes identified will as the main driving force behind motivation in the 16th century. In the 20th century, notable triumphs such as the moon landing and athletic records were achieved through unwavering determination.

Never Give Up Day, born in 2019, emerged from the passionate belief in the resilience of the human spirit. Yet, it wasn’t until 2022 that its signiﬁcance soared to national recognition. With resounding endorsement, numerous city mayors in the United States and Canada oﬃcially proclaimed August 18 as Never Give Up Day. Today, 137 major cities in the US and Canada have oﬃcially recognized August 18 as Never Give Up Day. This historic alliance signiﬁes an unparalleled wave of solidarity and inspiration, underscoring the relentless pursuit of dreams and the unwavering spirit of perseverance.
