Bünde Onion Market

The Bünde Onion Market is an annual folk festival in Bünde, East Westphalia-Lippe, Germany. It is one of the largest onion festivals in Germany and attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year in September. The Bünde Onion Market has a long tradition and dates back to 1674. On the opening day, there is a large parade through the town center, in which numerous floats, music groups and dance groups take part.

On Saturday and Sunday there is a large flea market where you can buy antiques, bric-a-brac and handicrafts.
