The Lippborg Market in Lippetal is a traditional event that has been taking place for more than 300 years. Every year at the end of August, on the last Tuesday and the weekend before, Lippborg is transformed into a festival for all ages. One of the highlights is the launch of the "Tecklenburger Land" gas balloon. Other attractions include fairground rides, exhibitors and culinary delights.
One of the traditions of the Lippborg market is the cattle and produce market, which takes place on the main day. The hustle and bustle around the market meadow begins at 6 a.m. with craftsmen, agricultural machinery manufacturers and companies. Stilt walkers and other attractions add to the festive atmosphere.
