The Leipzig Film Art Fair is an annual event that serves as a film screening and forum for the exchange of information between cinema operators, distributors and professionals. It is the only European film art fair of its kind. It is a five-day film fair that has been held in Leipzig every year since 2001.
The venues are Passage Kino, Schauburg Leipzig and Kinobar Prager Frühling.
Once a year, films are shown from Monday to Friday - well before their release in German cinemas - and their potential and possible marketing strategies are discussed. Seminars and workshops on current topics in the field of film art are also held.
