Maritime Week Bremen is an annual event at which the Hanseatic city celebrates its connection to the water.
When: Maritime Week takes place every year in September.
Where: The event on the banks of the Weser offers water sports presentations, themed city tours, lectures and many other water-related attractions.
Festival weekend: The big festival weekend at the Schlachte and the Martinianleger includes music, enjoyment, the research mile, a lantern ride, fireworks and the Dragon Boat Cup1.
Organizer: The CityInitiative Bremen Werbung e.V. organizes the Maritime Week to celebrate Bremen's close connection to the maritime economy, research and the attitude to life around the water.
In short, the Maritime Week is an opportunity to experience the world around the water up close and to celebrate the maritime character of the city!
