Top international vaulters regularly take part in the tournament in Leonberg, which makes for exciting competitions.
Vaulting is a mixture of gymnastics, acrobatics and dance on a galloping horse. The vaulters must not only pay attention to their posture, but must also merge with their horse to form a single unit by fluently incorporating every gallop into their movements. For M-teams and double vaulters, the tournament offers the chance to qualify for the national competition.
The vaulting tournament in Leonberg has a long tradition and has enjoyed great popularity for years. The Leonberg Riding and Driving Club and the Baden-Württemberg Vaulting Circle have been organizing this tournament together since 1994. In 2004, the tournament was held for the first time as the "Leonberg International Vaulting Tournament". Since then, it has developed into one of the most important vaulting tournaments in southern Germany.
The riding and driving club Leonberg e.V. provides a hospitable atmosphere that offers a great experience for both participants and spectators. Any visitor who is curious to see exactly what the vaulters can do on a horse is welcome to attend this event.
