The Bürgerfest is THE festival for Regensburgers and is also one of the largest city and cultural festivals in Bavaria. Over three days, a colorful and extensive cultural program - with activities for children, good entertainment and culinary specialties - is offered in the squares, courtyards and alleys of the old town and in Stadtamhof. The aspects of ecological sustainability, regionality and fair trade are increasingly the focus of the festival.
The Bürgerfest traditionally begins on the Friday of the 10th week after Easter. Dates are subject to change.
