Turnerjahrmarkt in Zweibrücken

Every year at Whitsun, they organize the Turnerjahrmarkt, one of the largest folk festivals in the West Palatinate. The fair, which was founded by the Men's Gymnastics Club (MTV), a predecessor club, has been held on the fairground at the Rennwiese (former location: "Kleiner Exerzierplatz") since 1977 and attracts between 80,000 and 100,000 visitors every year. This beautiful folk festival in the West Palatinate offers, for example, children's carousels, fast-paced rides for youngsters with a head for heights, nostalgic barrel organ music, lottery stalls, confectionery and snack bars. The spruced-up marquee and the rustic tarte flambée house invite you to linger. An entertaining family afternoon and a musical firework display on the final day round off the program.

Those who have been to Zweibrücken for the first time think it's a great place! Beautiful location surrounded by lots of well-kept greenery - thanks to the trotting track! The number of visitors was also very pleasant, as it was well attended but not overcrowded. And the people present were also predominantly from the pleasant group.
