St. Nicholas Market in Drais

The St. Nicholas market organized by the Drais Association Ring traditionally opens on the first Saturday in Advent. A wide range of home-made goods attracts many shoppers to the Drais St. Nicholas market.

The Drais Vereinsring organizes the Kerb and the Nikolausmarkt. On the first Saturday in Advent, the latter invited visitors to browse and seek out Christmas gifts, handicrafts and culinary delights in a relaxed atmosphere. The Drais clubs and daycare centers, the elementary school and private individuals were delighted to welcome so many customers, who also appreciated the grilled sausages from the Mainz-Drais volunteer fire department, the steaming mulled wine and apple juice, as well as the sweet waffles from the Maria Königin Catholic daycare center, the scent of which was in the air. So the physical well-being was well taken care of.
