The big festival in Hanover's city center attracts visitors with lots of hands-on activities and stages. Discovery Day (Regionsentdeckertag) is one of the most popular family events in the Hanover region. More than 100,000 residents swarm out every year to explore the region. An annual event since 1987.
There is a colorful potpourri of activities, games, experiences and experiments for visitors of all ages - joining in and trying things out is expressly encouraged.
