The Schlossgrabenfest is the largest music festival in Hessen and one of the biggest open-air events in Germany. At the first edition of the event in 1999, the festival took place from Friday to Sunday and had 50,000 visitors on two stages. In 2000, the festival was extended by one day and has been held from Thursday to Sunday ever since. Since 2001, bands have performed on four stages. The fifth anniversary attracted 300,000 visitors. More than 120,000 visitors, including more than 80,000 paying music fans - that is the result of the 23rd edition of the Schlossgrabenfest 2023.
Let's celebrate life together again for four days around the Residenzschloss (Dresden Castle-Residence, also Palace-Residence - former residence of the Saxon Electors and Kings) with live music and club sounds, have fun and meet friends. And best of all: Monday is a public holiday and therefore perfect for sleeping in.
