The Electric Daisy Carnival (often simply referred to as EDC) is a three-day electronic dance music festival held annually in Las Vegas. In addition to the main event in Las Vegas, festivals are now also held in Orlando, Denver, Dallas and Puerto Rico.
The first Electric Daisy Carnival was held in 1997 at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles with 5000 visitors. It has since been held at various locations in Southern California and has steadily grown in attendance.
