"Nothing is more unreasonable than to deny oneself pleasures", Frederick the Great once said. That is why we are once again inviting all wine lovers to Potsdam this year to celebrate the delights of German wine together.
Frederick himself would certainly have been delighted to see his garden become the venue for a wine festival some 250 years later. For over a decade, winegrowers from almost all 13 German wine-growing regions, from Brandenburg and even from France have followed the call of wine to Potsdam. They spoil connoisseurs and friends of fine wines with their selection.
The philosophy of this festival is to present the diversity of German wine through a selected representative of each wine-growing region. The increasing number of visitors testifies to the appreciation of the public, while the winegrowers enjoy the expert discussions in a harmonious, almost familiar and yet majestic atmosphere. A royal experience for all the senses!
