Help us

Every July 13, we pay tribute to those professional conductors who are in charge of an orchestra, who with their baton make possible the execution of harmonious melodies with great responsibility, dedication and passion for music. The International Orchestra Conductor's Day is celebrated.
This international day was created in 2013, on the initiative of the students of the School of Orchestra and Band Conducting "Maestro Navarro Lara" in the city of Huelva, Spain.
The purpose of this event is to commemorate the German-born conductor Carlos Kleiber, considered the precursor of modern orchestra conducting technique and one of the great conductors of the 20th century. Kleiber was born in Berlin on July 3, 1930 and died in Slovenia on July 13, 2004.
