It should be noted that the International Day of Architecture takes place on October 5. Why is July 1 the Day of the Architect in Argentina? This celebration of the important professional field has to do with an initiative of the Argentine Federation of Architects' Associations (FADEA), which in 1996 established July 1 as the Day of the Architect in Argentina.
FADEA cites Architect's Day as "a clear awareness that the profession deserves a date to focus on to reflect on how to enrich the daily task".
