In Peru, the Day of Early Childhood Education is commemorated since May 25, 1931. This important date allows us to make visible and reflect on the relevance of early childhood education and the role of each educator. On May 25, 1931, the first state kindergarten for children was opened by the Barcia Boniffatti sisters.
Early education is fundamental for human development and for the future of the country. That is why teachers at this educational level are perhaps the most important in the entire educational system. The work in early education is vital and very dedicated, because we not only work with the child, but also with the family.
