National Mayor's Day in Colombia is held on March 13. This event in the second decade of the month March is annual.

La Nación newspaper declares March 13 as National Mayor's Day and exalts the memory of those who have died in the exercise of their duties. In July 2013, Law No. 1656 of July 15 was created, declaring March 13 as National Mayors' Day.
Due to factors of violence, many mayors have been sacrificed in the performance of their duties and this law also seeks to remember them and posthumously offer them the honors they deserve.
