Mount Chimborazo is an extinct volcano and the highest point in Ecuador. Previously considered the highest in the world. Its height above sea level is 6,268 m. Edward Vimper in 1886 became the first to successfully conquer its summit.
The whole of Chimborazo is a national park. The day is one for lacing up your trusty hiking boots and hitting a mountain trail even if you can’t make it Ecuador. But if you can take a trip to this nature lover’s paradise, you will be in for a treat!
