Genocide Remembrance Day of the Roma and Sinti in Poland is held on August 2. Dzień Pamięci o Zagładzie Romów i Sinti, set on the anniversary of the Roma and Sinti exterminaton at Auschwitz concentration camp, established in 2011. This event in the first decade of the month August is annual.

Every year, since the beginning of the 1990s, mourning ceremonies commemorating the extermination of the Roma and Sinti are held at the site of the former Auschwitz-Birkenau camp. By establishing the Remembrance Day for the Extermination of the Roma and Sinti, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland gave the celebration an official dimension.
August 2 this year. once again we are celebrating the Remembrance Day for the Extermination of the Roma and Sinti established by the Sejm through a resolution on July 29, 2011.
