Dixieland Parade
Dixieland Parade is held on May 17. Start on the Terrassenufer at the Carola Bridge. This event in the second decade of the month May is annual.

The friends of old-time jazz in Dresden emphasize the city's reputation as the "capital of Dixieland". Various jazz bands from Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland are part of the parade.
