Recruiter's Day or HR Manager's Day
Recruiter's Day or HR Manager's Day is held on September 17. Celebrated on the third Wednesday of September. This event in the second decade of the month September is annual.
A good recruiter remembers small, positive details from their interactions with their rejected applicants and uses them to add a personal touch to their messages. They highlight candidates' strengths and may even suggest other jobs they would be suitable for. And they stay in touch for future openings. The average time period spent by recruiters looking at the resume is just 5 to 7 seconds. Only 35% of applicants are actually qualified for the jobs they apply to. 76% of resumes are discarded for an unprofessional email address.
Holiday Recruiter's Day is celebrated informally, the idea first appeared on September 20, 2001 thanks to the initiative of several recruiting agencies in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Ukraine.
