Hessian Blues-, Schmus- & Applesauce Festival in Laubach
Hessian Blues-, Schmus- & Applesauce Festival in Laubach is held on August 23. This event in the third decade of the month August is annual. Help us
For over a decade, Laubach has been the capital of the blues in late summer. In addition to the many different bands that make up the main program, there will once again be an extensive supporting program with lots of action, sights and highlights. Whether workshop, church service or market - there is something for everyone.
On the 4th weekend in August it's that time again. The festival will be framed by the national drink cider and all the culinary delights that the apple has to offer. Apple queens and kings from all over Germany and neighboring countries will open the festival on Friday evening.
The "Blues, Schmus & Apfelmus" festival takes care of your physical well-being with an apple market that spoils you with a variety of special and delicious offers and has (almost) everything on offer. Whether it's flamed salmon or fish sandwiches, Hessian specialties such as Handkäs' with music, green sauce, ribs or fatty bread, potato wedges with dip, tarte flambée and sweets such as crepes, waffles, honey specialties, fine apple brandy and much, much more are available for guests in the castle park. There are also many products made from Hessen's regional fruit - the apple - such as apple pie, fine apple brandy and much more.
